AG LifeSolutions

Biological innovation for safer, cleaner, and more sustainable agriculture

At Agrolac Andina, we believe in environmentally responsible agriculture that is technically sound and future-ready. That’s why we bring to the Colombian market the knowledge and solutions developed within AG LifeSolutions, an applied research initiative driven by International Chemistry Associates (ICA Group) companies in Europe.

The AG LifeSolutions project works with RD centers in plant health across Europe and Asia and, in some cases, receives support from the Center for Industrial Technological Development of Spain (CDTI) in Spain. Thanks to a regulatory approach from the outset, each research line is designed to become a registrable product ready for commercial use, complying with applicable regulations in each country.

Main research lines:

  • AGRC-0114 · Biological growth regulators.

  • AGFU-0214 · Biological fungicides formulated from specific strains of Streptomyces.

  • AGFN-0116 · Multi-effect solutions (fungicide + nematicide + growth promoter) based on Trichoderma.

  • AGBA-0617 · Natural-origin bactericides for sensitive crops.

  • AGBE-0717 · Biostimulants formulated with mycorrhizal consortia and other beneficial microorganisms.

From scientific knowledge to field solutions

Through AG LifeSolutions, scientific knowledge is transformed into real solutions, connecting the work of universities and technology centers with grower needs. Several of these lines have already resulted in registered products or are in advanced development stages, designed to integrate into management programs in both conventional and sustainable agriculture.

These solutions are designed to be incorporated into responsible production strategies, with clear technical criteria and stringent regulatory standards.

Commitment to responsible innovation

Over the past 12 years, group companies have continuously invested in research, development, and scientific collaboration. As a result, AG LifeSolutions has generated a portfolio of proprietary biological products—including plant growth regulators, biostimulants, and natural-origin specialty fertilizers—developed with universities and technology centers in Europe and Asia.

New projects are currently underway that will strengthen this portfolio in the coming years and support our vision: effective, sustainable, and future-ready agriculture.
