FLUBENZULAC 25 WP is a non-systemic insecticide based on diflubenzuron 264 g/kg, formulated as a wettable powder, for fall armyworm control in rice. It acts by contact and ingestion and targets the insect’s immature stages.

Its mechanism inhibits chitin synthesis and disrupts the larvae’s normal molting process, interrupting their development. Therefore, treatment is aimed at early-instar larvae, through an early foliar application. The product response is linked to larval development and molting: it has no knockdown effect. This should be considered when assessing the treatment and planning pest monitoring in the crop. Use according to the conditions on the Colombian label.

Instructions for use
Apply an early foliar treatment to rice when larvae are in the early developmental stages, at a dose of 0.25 kg/ha (250 g/ha). Follow the instructions on the Colombian label for preparation and application. Observe a pre-harvest interval of 14 days and a re-entry period of 12 hours.
